Bratz Dolls

As opposed to the 11.5 tall and slender Barbie doll, the Bratz doll stands at 10” with a much more realistic figure. While Barbie is controversial for her impossibly slim figure, Bratz are a bit controversial for their excessive make-up, sometimes overly skimpy clothes, and ‘whatever’ facial expressions.

They make not be the hallmark for ‘sugar and spice and everything nice,’ but they sure are making a big impression with young girls today, and have become one of the most popular dolls around within a matter of years after being produced. They have even surpassed Barbie sales in some parts of the world.

A Brief Bratz History

So when did it all start? MGA Entertainment introduced the world to Bratz dolls in 2001. These dolls have hard, vinyl heads with hair you can comb and soft vinyl bodies. You may recognize them for their overly large heads and eyes. You can find not only Bratz clothes to go with these dolls, but also a variety of trendy playsets, video games, and a movie.

The Cast

Bratz ethnically diverse characters include Yasmin, Sasha, Cloe, and Jade. Boy Bratz dolls Dylan, Cameron, Eitan, Cade, Colin, Deavon, Lakkin, Mikko, and Koby entered the scene not long after girl Bratz dolls – these are also quite multi-cultural.
